A sacred ghat on the banks of the River Saryu in Ayodhya. It is believed to be the spot where Lord Rama's by departed to heaven by leaving his human body. Were performed in secrecy.

Bharat Kund

A historical site in Ayodhya associated with Bharata, the younger brother of Lord Rama. It is believed to be the place where Bharata, upon learning about Lord Rama's exile, performed ablutions to seek forgiveness.

Dashrath Samadhi Sthal

A memorial dedicated to King Dasharatha, the father of Lord Rama, in Ayodhya. It is believed to be the site where King Dasharatha's mortal remains were cremated.

Makhaura Dham

During the Putrakameshti Yajna, Dasharatha received kheer from Agni to distribute among his queens. Kaushalya consumed half, Sumitra a quarter, and Kaikeyi some before passing it back to Sumitra, who ate it again.

Swaminarayan Chhapia
